KEYNOTE: Enabling a Modern Workplace with Microsoft Teams
Are you organizing 30-minute meetings to share information that could be summed up in a single email message? Are you blasting out every single idea in emails, which become lost in the heap? Do you create precise and in-depth plans over the phone, with every participant taking a separate set of notes?

Not only will Frank show you which tools are wrong for a given task, but he can suggest better tools. While no single collaboration tool will solve all of your problems, many of the disadvantages of email and phone calls can be avoided with Microsoft Teams.

Frank Migacz, Technical Specialist, Microsoft
There IS an “I” in Teams: It’s Information
Microsoft Teams is spreading like wildfire, but there’s a lot of confusion about how to use it effectively to improve business performance. The overlap of multiple Office 365 communication tools, coupled with rampant channel proliferation, is making it hard to follow the ‘business conversation’ and to find information quickly. The key to success is to focus on the needs of the knowledge worker.

This session looks at the business challenges associated with using Microsoft Teams, including what to do with email; then will demonstrate how to reap the business benefits of Teams through the lens of several real-world business use cases, from the eyes of a typical knowledge worker.

Tailoring Microsoft Teams to Accelerate Collaboration
Government agencies and large private sector organizations frequently have centralized IT departments supporting numerous departments or lines of business with wildly diverse digital workspace needs. The challenge is they all sit under the same Office 365 tenant and are constrained to the same tenant-wide settings. With native Office 365 functionality, if you disable external sharing for the Department of Transportation you are disabling it for the Department of Education. If you allow Marketing to self-provision a Teams Team you are allowing HR to do it too.

Departments have a different number of users, deal with different sensitivity of information and are overseen by different industry regulations—shouldn’t they have different policies for their digital workspaces in Office 365? Join Justin Walker for this interactive session and learn how to give departments in the same Office 365 tenant different policies for provisioning, external sharing, retention, and more!

There are often hundreds of business systems and applications that power enterprises today. The challenge is integrating with your current systems and other third-party applications and connecting them together. Through connectors and Xtensions, we enable the automation of workflows that connect with different platforms. We'll show you how we're empowering Microsoft Teams users with our Teams connector to automate their processes and transform their organizations.
